General Information | General InformationThe 1,000 Mile Journey is a 1 mile walk around the Capitol Square in Madison, WI with 1,000 or more participants for the end of child abuse.
Join the walk as an individual, a team (10 people of any background), or family (team of relatives of 2 or more people). Entry fee is $25 for the first entry and $20 for each additional team or family member. Children 9 and under are free (select the kids option when registering). Each participant over 9 years old will raise a minimum of $25 in pledges, those 9 and under will raise a minimum of $5. The walker with the highest pledge amount for their age group wins a prize package.
All proceeds go to The Rainbird Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Madison, WI. Contributions to The Rainbird Foundation are accepted as an option when you register for the walk. Contributions exclusively on behalf of yourself are also accepted without participating in the walk. | |
