Participate in a fun race around the Capitol Square, the Fit Kids Challenge Fun Run!
In keeping with Madison's commitment to a healthy lifestyle and in conjunction with Ford Ironman Wisconsin, the Fit Kids Challenge Fun Run is set to take off on Saturday, September 12 from the rooftop of Monona Terrace Convention Center and continue around the Capitol Square. Athletes from Edgewood College will be on hand to lead the kids through warm up exercises and serve as course marshals while mascots from Edgewood College, Madison Mallard's Baseball and Home Savings Bank will cheer on the runners throughout the course. Additional volunteers from the Greater Madison Convention & Visitors Bureau, Group Health Cooperative, Dean & St. Mary's, Hy-Vee, The North Central Group, Ozee Cars, UW Health and Whole Foods will also assist in the Fun Run creating a positive and supportive environment for our community's children.
Also, stay around for the Post-run festivities on the Monona Terrace Rooftop, including activities and food from 9:15am to Noon.
